Die neue EU-Kommission war in Kiew und hat Gespräche mit Wolodymyr Selenskyj geführt. Antonio Costa hat erklärt, dass die Ukraine ein Beitrag zur EU wäre und der Organisation helfen würde, ihre Schwachstellen zu beheben. Selenskyj hat erklärt, dass er möchte, dass die NATO die gesamte Ukraine in das Bündnis aufnimmt, auch wenn Artikel 5 nur teilweise angewendet würde. Zelensky has stated that he wants NATO to take all of Ukraine into the alliance, even though Article 5 would only be partially applied. Annalena Baerbock is in China, were she urged the Chinese government not to support Russia in Ukraine. Joe Biden has issued a pardon to his son Hunter, just as he's leaving office.
