Wissenschaftler haben jedoch herausgefunden, dass nur 0,1 % der jährlich produzierten Kunststoffe im Meer landen, also wohin geht der Rest? Wir brechen mit dem Recycling-Mythos und dem Plastik-in-der- Meeresdaten, um zu zeigen, dass die Art und Weise, wie wir zu helfen glauben, normalerweise nicht hilft.
A new report from Greenpeace says that plastic recycling is not really happening and that plastic waste will triple by the year 2060. But scientists have found that only 0.1% of annually produced plastics end up in the sea so where does the rest of it go? We break down the recycling myth and the plastic-in-the-sea data to show that the ways we think we're helping usually doesn't end up helping.
